Join us for a very special weekend to Amsterdam, with its exiting bars, café’s
wonderful shopping & fabulous sights, you may also wish to run in the marathon
or one of the other races.

On Friday we join our modern executive coach, at the convenient departure points,
we make the journey north to Hull & the overnight sailing to Rotterdam.
From the moment you arrive onboard, the worlds largest cruise ferry you feel a
sense of relaxation wafting over you. The onboard facilities include, a cyber café,
disco, casino, cinema, a play area for children duty paid shops, a two tiered show lounge,
for live entertainment, bars & restaurant. The onboard cabins have private facilities,
soap, towels, duvets, & toiletries.

We arrive in Rotterdam, on Saturday morning & continue our journey, to the Sportshallen
Zuid registration point, to collect the numbers. After registration, we visit Amsterdam centre,
for a few hours, before we go to the Radisson SAS Hotel, where accommodation is reserved
on a bed & breakfast basis for one night. The en-suit rooms boast, tea & coffee making
facilities, hair dryer, wifi, safe & mini bar satellite tv. The hotel has a fitness centre,
sauna & steam bath, bar & lounge. Evening at leisure, You may book an evening meal, at the
hotel, or you may wish to join our visit to the centre of Amsterdam for the evening & dine in
one of the many restaurants. The coach will depart Amsterdam at 2230, those wishing to
stay a little longer may do so, but will have to make there own way back to the hotel.

On Sunday after breakfast, we travel short journey to the Olympic Stadium, on arrival
we park opposite the stadium, to make it easy for all the runners & supporters to have
local base to return to. At 1100 the Marathon starts, at 1125 the 10k starts, at 1230 the 2.5k
youth race starts & 1430 the half Marathon starts. After all the runners return, we make
our way back, to the overnight cruise ferry from Rotterdam to Hull.

On Monday morning, on arrival in Hull, we disembark the ship. If required we could
visit the Meadow Hall shopping centre, for a few hours. After the visit we make the
journey home after a wonderful time at the Amsterdam marathon.

Travel is aboard a modern executive coach,with facilities for your comfort including, an
on board toilet, hot & cold drinks dvd, tv & audio system. During the journey appropriate
comfort breaks will be made. One night accommodation at the Radisson SAS Hotel,
on a bed & breakfast basis in en-suite rooms, return cruise ferry crossings from & Hull to
Rotterdam, return travel to & from the races evening visit to Amsterdam, visit to
Meadow Hall shopping centre if required.
